SUNFLOWER~~

~~Monday Evening Post~~


SUNFLOWERS and other garden pictures today ...I painted a bird picture, made some spaghetti, Adam (my baby..23 years old ) came for lunch, dug out my dehydrator and am drying some apricots,

cleaned some and just stayed home alllllllllllll day (:) It was nice~~

I took this picture when the daisies were in full bloom, they are gone now and I chopped them off~~

the garden now(:) huge~!! I have afew pumpkins too~~!! Yea~!!!


the FARMERS MARKET metal sign I bought from Polly @ Countingyourblessings.. POLLY

Its really perfect for my potting bench and gourds..especially with the grapes and grape vines tumbling over it(:) Thanks POLLY~~ She also has some of my birdnest pictures in her little storefront(:)~

  2. Love the before and after picture of your garden! A lot can happen in two months! Your bird painting came out really nice! Very original sitting on eggplants! You sure did a lot in one day.

  3. Such a lovely yard, love your apricot tree, wow..... I would love an oak tree in my yard,but I heard it takes at least 50 years to get acorns....I can't wait that long by then I will have forgotten what to do with them LOL !!
    Your yard is very sweet its looks like a wonderful place to sit with a book and relax.
    Love the picture of the birds sitting on the eggplant that is so sweet,its simple and sweet.

    Wonderful post, I love the before garden picture, WOW WEE, the after is amazing! I love your garden sign from Polly too, the gourds are so cool displayed in front of it...
    Hope your having a wonderful week, bet your enjoying your hot sunny eastern Wa. weather, we finally got some rain here in Port Orchard! YEA!!!! I was able to do other garden chores instead of watering.

    Your garden is just beautiful...love the hot pink cosmos and I love apricots...do you get many?

    The sunflower header looks neat and I like the zinnias, they turned out great:). I like the blog changes too...you have been having fun.
