My Garden ~~08

Hi~~




Hope you are all doing well this day before the 4th(:)




Really warm today and there is a forcast of thunderstorms,large hail, etc..bad news with the cherries still not all picked yet (:O)~~fingers crossed here ~!!




I took some shots of my yard as it gets ''filled in'' this year~~

and Karen for lunch the other day~ ~~We have been friends for 30'ty something years(:)

..she was here this weekend with her husband (Steve)for a carshow ..they have a beautiful '55 eggplant color Chevy....we had a really great visit out under the trees in the backyard..

The Ol' GARDEN 08 getting big..Tomatoes, crook necked squash, gourds,cukes, & red bellpeppers~~














The raspberry bushes have lots of berries on there.. just don't show up in the picture ..we really have enjoyed eating them especially raspberry cobblers~~(:)

    I love your vintage scale..I have a black one and I adore it!! I am waiting for the Blackberries to burst on the bush here in WA....any day now!!!

    Fingers crossed that those cherries made it okay.. your yard is so pretty!! I love all of the pictures!!! That chevy is a dream... love the header and the scale.. it is one of those things on my wish list!!!
    Thanks for sharing.. now I feel like I know you a bit better!!! You are wayyyyyyyyy on the other side of the states!!

    Oh I have been meaning to tell you.. the men in my Family all have the middle name Carter!!! Don't cha love it!!

    I love all the daisy's and the chair on your front porch is darling. You have a lovely garden and such a pretty spot to have lunch with the girls.

    That is the neatest vintage scale...just fun to weigh cherries on. I have an old green one I just love...not sure how accurate mine is:), but still neat to set out.
