Big pot..
a little olive oil,
cooked the ground turkey,
onions
added 2 large cans of chopped tomatoes,
some water,
2 large cans of kidney beans
a little sugar and salt & pepper
a little sugar and salt & pepper
then some of this spice mix..
didn't add all of it...
if needed later will add some more..
am going to cook it on low for an hour or more..
so far it tastes pretty good (:)
I think what we liked about the Birthday chili was the 'kick'
and this Seasoning pkg. has a separate pkg. of cayenne pepper
you can add or not..I did-- love it(:)

ReplyDeleteGood Morning, I couldn't help but notice the Chili kit package fits right in with your kitchen colors.
ReplyDeleteI like the red, black and white combo.
OH I love chili and your pot looks especially delicious!

Yum, love chili.......I like that lit up rooster in the back, it is lit up right?? I picked up an old wagon wheel for my garden yesterday, maybe tomorrow I will have it in my blog.
ReplyDeleteOh, that looks yummy, Patty, and I loved taking a peek at your kitchen. That rooster is darling. I used to have red in my kitchen until I switched to turquoise, but I am missing my red again hehehe. There's nothing like red in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteLove,

Your cooking pot of chili looks so delicious. It's fun to see part of your kitchen too.
