We walked during the day and even later that night after the Thai dinner.. afew people were walking around the town too.. I can't say enough about this place LOVE IT~~
PIKE STREET MARKET,Seattle WA
The next day we went downtown Seattle and spent a good time at the Pike Street market area.. looking all around the streets of Seattle (just above the Market) too we walked and walked.. I love looking up at the tall skyscrapers..watching all the activity going on people everywhere, busy -busy
....looked in alot of neat shops and Antique stores sucked in the moist air from the Puget Sound, I LOVE to VISIT(:) big cities~~~especially the ones on the water...
.......we ate LUNCH at our favorite Indian(Middle Eastern) restaurant.. took it ''to go'' since it was a little breezy at the tiny outdoor seating area.. we found an inside public area to sit down and enjoy it..
well it is always good to be home ..today I am making the Thai food we had up in La Conner.. delish.. chicken on a stick, peanut sauce to dip it in..and a rice wraps filled with greens, cukes, rice etc..(:)
Glad you came by..

Hi Patty,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that I haven't visited for a while. I've missed you! It looks like you had a lovely trip.
When I lived in Seattle we went to Pike's Place pretty often (that was 20 years ago). I have always enjoyed the downtown area.
have a wonderful weekend.
hugs,
Barb
I would really like to go visit Washington again. It's been so long since I've been there. Have you ever gone to the "underground" Seattle (I guess that's what you'd call it)? I remember WA as being so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely trip to Washington. I love the pictures of the old doors...too cute!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine turkeys just walking down a street. That must have seemed really odd.
ReplyDeleteI have the Pike's Place cookbook and I have always wanted to visit there. Did you see them tossing the fish?
I love your collage of the doors .
