Free Peoples Clothes http://www.freepeople.com/index.cfm
I came across this site a few years back ..has fun stuff...I suppose I could wear some of the things but it's a pretty young fashion style..
that brings me to the age appropriate dressing ...hummm that is when it gets hard ,
we surely don't want to look like we are trying to look (TOO much) younger then our age..right??

I thought it might just slip by you (:)LOL
I used to love winter so I could cover up the far from perfect bod.. but Capris are fairly flattering I think anyway and much cooler then long pants and less revealing then shorts..I like sundresses too but can't seem to find the kind I used to wear..
T's

Hi Patty,
ReplyDeleteCool pics of 'back in the day'. I'm with you on the capris, that's my summertime attire.
God bless,
Brenda
Wonderful black and white photos! I love your blog header pic too.
ReplyDeleteHi Patty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! Yes it's always a dilemma, what to wear! I am also a capri and T person. Simple and easy. sometimes I get real daring and wear a tank top when it's really hot.
Loved your old photos, they are so adorable. Bathing suits at my age are meant for around the yard with shorts on to get a little sun while doing yard work only.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Sherry
What would I do without my Target and Old Navy clothes?
ReplyDeleteAnd you look darling in that suit!
Becky
Hi Patty..I'm with you...capris and tees...I still haven't found the perfect jean..I had some I liked but my DD said they were MOM JEANS so I threw them out...LOL
ReplyDeleteI am no longer a size 5 but I like to think I am ....but the fitting room mirror doesn't lie and half the time I leave disgusted and empty handed...
I like wearing the oversized tops...kinds long on the bottom..Kohls has had a rather nice selection this year..of course I buy them on clearance.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Robin

I love capris and t's too I used to like shorts but over the years I've gained a little weight and now I just don't like the looks of my legs in them! I love Tori's show (they had a Tori and Dean marathon this last weekend on oxygen!) She's so funny!

Hi Patty,
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking up on me! I've been extremely busy with our cleaning business. A blessing for sure, but pooped by evening! When I think about posting something my mind goes "toodle-do"!
God bless,
