5. To show these rules.

I would like to present the following ''Five lovely BLOGGERS''
this prestigious Award~~

FOOD~~~

Fried up some asparagus in alittle oil.. adding garlic powder S&P.. delish ..so much better tasting then steaming or boiling~~

I bought a nice pineapple then sliced some for shikabobs and then ''cubed'' some threw it into the freezer in alittle baggy.. makes great icecubes in ice tea(:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HANGING GARDEN WINDOWS
These are two different window ideas ..
Hang them from a tree~~ One is painted ferns on glass.. I laid the ferns on then just lightly sprayed them with a cream colored paint..
and the other(no glass) has a rusty picket fence staple gunned on then I just slipped the rusty metal star into the frame..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CHEAP TRICKS~~~
I use G-sale plates and use them for treat plates or sandwiches.. I epoxy'd on the inexpensive glass candle sticks to make little serving plates..
Have a little chip I see(:)

  2. Hi Patty, your craft area looks great to me and I bet you know just where everthing is ...love the green baskets and tubs. That ia great idea for storing tissue and ribbons, mine are always in such a jumble.
    The candle stick plates are so cool....I'm tucking that idea away. Have a great week. Hugs, Linda

  3. I LOVE that cute pic of you in your work space!! At least you have a space...if I had one it would be cluttered and messy...now I just move my stuff around to whatever room I want to be in...it's not pretty! We are looking for new bedroom furniture and I want a desk for the corner.

    Great idea with the candle sticks and plates...those would make CUTE gifts...especially with some cookies or cake on them.

    I adore that window with the star...very clever you are!!
    Hugs,
    Robin

  9. Hi Patty,
    I see you got the 'comment' thing figured out!
    Thanks for tagging me. I did do this one a month or so ago, but I'll pull it up again and see if anything needs changed--like my snack list!
    I love asparagus, it looks appetizing in your picture. I don't know what it is, probably my own problem, but I don't find many blogger's food pictures appetizing for some reason UNLESS they're chocolaty desserts. Crazy, huh?
    I haven't been able to blog as much as I like. My cleaning business is getting pretty busy for the summer. But I will do the best I can with staying on top of my blogging buddies' posts. I enjoy them so much.
    Have a great week.
    Brenda :)

    Thanks for the tag--I'll let you know when I post it.
    Smiles, Karen

  11. Your craft area is very nice. All my ribbons are just crammed in a big plastic bag. I love your pincushion and snack plates. I made a similar piece after seeing one on someones blog. I glued three plates and two cordial glasses together to make a tiered stand for my jewelry. The size of the plates is staggered.

  16. I got so excited I forgot to tell you I do the same thing with candle holders, only I spray paint them to match the colors on my china plate and seal them with clear paint or modge podge. Great minds think alike, huh.
