Oh, I miss my dad, too. This is our first Father's Day without him. Now he's with his heavenly Father.
ReplyDeleteMy dad had been gone since 1961 (53 years ago) and I still miss him. I am sure life would have been different if he had lived longer then 43 years. My mother remarried, a year later. My stepfather recently asked if I would call him "dad" No I said, you are "Pops" and that is what I have called you all these years, you are not my dad....no one can take his place. Well, if you knew Pops, you would understand as he is VERY controlling, and still can be, even though he lives 1500 miles away.
