Love the flowering Cherry tree..
must be about 30 years old ..
been keeping busy with yardwork..
we finally found some pampas grass...
bought two white ones and a pink one..
Have never had these before..
they are in the yards around town ,
but are boring & straw looking right now...
should they be cut back in the winter?
the next plant I want to get is a peony..
have always loved the BIG flowers and smell(:)

Patty, Your yard is beautiful !! I love your flowering weeping cherry tree. We have one but it's only about 5 years old. Not near a full as yours. Once my husband saw some grasses at the golf course....he asked a friend what they were called...the friend called and left a message saying it was pampas grass....but I told my husband, his friend said he was, a pompous ass. :):) I know bad girl , LOL. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOh Pampas grasses...I wish I could find some to grow here...I love that stuff, cut it down in the fall and bring it in for decoration. I've had some grasses that last for quite a few years. That's a beautiful yard...are you on a busy street? I love peonies too, I have a big one in front of the house....one of these years I need to separate it.
ReplyDeleteOooo, I love these cherry trees, Patty, but I've never seen a flowering one - how lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, my friend.
love,
~Sheri
