I had fun shopping with a friend
yesterday
found some things for my votive holder project
at Pier 1
..I found 99 cent cylinder glass votive holders
then
at
HOBBY LOBBY
I found lace and glass mirror type and the leopard jewels (actually buttons)
loved the leopard ones so that is what I used the most..
my TACKY glue ,burlap stained some with a taupe Ritz dye..
a little lace on one..
..the one on the far right was the original one I bought
awhile back..mine are different ..but that's ok too

ReplyDeleteI saw lots of burlap at the craft fair I went to yesterday. There was a tote there made with printed burlap fabric with tea dyed crocheted doilies for accents. It was cute at $15. and I'm wondering now if I should have purchased one because I keep thinking about it. Not that I need another tote mind you....but it was cute.
