apple crisp is delish
put my chopped apples in the buttered pan
 I add
brown sugar- lemon juice -cinnamon-a little flour and toss ..
then for the topping
 put in  a bowl
cold sliced up butter to flour plus some oats--salt --B sugar and more cinnamon.. mix well with fingers
put it on top it the apples
 then slice more butter
place on top...more cinnamon too(:)
sprinkle it with some cold water and bake 350 for about 50 minute to an hour..

  2. Gravensteins are my favorite apple.

We used to go to the Gravenstein Apple Festival in Sebastapol, CA every August when we lived down in Napa. It was so much fun and the apple products... oh so good.
