Dear Patty~
ReplyDeleteI have a little experience in this...he's probably dehydrated. If you have an eye dropper, get him to drink some water-a few drops every 10 min. or so...He should perk up, then you can feed him~every 20 minutes or so!!!
We raised a few. It's a lovely thing to do. Bless you and little Chirpy.
PS When he will eat-wet cat food-little bits, work perfectly. It's what my rehab friend suggested when we did it.
Oh dear, I hope Debra's ideas help.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and take care.
Oh. I'm sorry, Patty. You tried.
ReplyDeleteYou tried your best. I hope your afternoon/evening is busy with projects to help distract you from feeling so bad. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that your little bird baby did not make it.
ReplyDeleteI am taking care of an new peacock hatching. The mother does not want him and nearly pecked it to death. Its her first hatch,so not a very good Mother yet.We dotored it with antibotics and it is now in a box with a light on it.They need to be kepted very warm. Its doing fine so far.
Thank you for coming to visit .
Blessings to you,
Marie Antionette
