ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. A while back we were at a chicken wing restaurant (yeah, I know, real fancy!) and a couple was sitting close to us. They hardly spoke to each other because they were so busy on their phones. I wanted to ask them, "Are all the people you are communicating with more important than the person across the table?" I didn't. I just felt bad for them.
Everyone is attention starved these days. We need billboards that say, "Tune in to the real people that are RIGHT THERE with you! Get off the phone!"
