Good Morning, Patty....I've canned pickles one time a long time ago..they came out pretty good. I'm still in the remodeling stage at our new home so it'll be next year before I think of anything outside.

We love fresh veggies, too. My hubby cans pickles, but we are still eating them from a few years ago. No need to can more til the stock pile is low...lol.

ReplyDeleteGlad you are gettin a bunch of cukes! Bet your tomatoes will be ready soon! I have more cherry tomatoes than the large ones but they are YUMO! Mmmmm summer tastes wonderful doesn't it?!!!
My mom used to can tons of stuff but I never got into it. I usually didn't eat it either :) I have to wonder if canning is becoming more of a lost art with each generation.
