We drove to Spokane, WA. yesterday
it's a lot bigger then where we live so it is fun to go there once in awhile (:)
The sun was out when we left but about half way there it was hiding behind the clouds..
The drive over takes nearly 3 hours UGH ..I am not a good ''rider''
plus the scenery isn't much to look at ..
Alot of farm lands(wheat and cattle mainly) which are at their worst this time of year..
brown -brown -brown..did I say brown(:)LOL
We had lunch at a little town about half way over there called Ritzville..
It has several neat old homes ~
RITZVILLE
Vintage Farm towns USA~I love em ~
and we ate LUNCH at a little cafe called Sharons..
been here several times over the years..
purples and greens ---the food is good and its clean ~
I had a crispy chicken salad ~~
I have a thing about trees all in a row(:) there were several on this trip~
Me .. ya I was bored on the drive over (:)and back~
Thank goodness I took my camera for something to do ~
When in Spokane we did some looking around ,didn't buy a thing ...hummm
So glad you came in today..

Yay! It's March!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to take a day trip like that. Even if you don't buy anything but lunch.
btw, I have the post with the questions you asked me up now!
When you see how 'boring' we are, will you still be my blogging friend?!
;)
I can hardly believe its March too. I enjoy visiting towns that have kept their heritage, enjoyed these so much.

I love the purple and green diner. Purple is my favorite color but you don't see it used much in public. interior decoration. Love the name Ritzville.
