ABC'S of HOMEMAKING.......

A ~Aprons-- I have two canvas aprons, long to my knees.. one is a light blue checker'd with sunflowers on it, the other is a black checker'd with sunflowers all over it~~

B ~ Baking--Favorite thing to bake? I love to bake cookies, chocolate chip (:)

C ~ Clothes line?I don't have one darn it anyway (:)
D ~ Donuts--Have you ever made them?

I have years back ..it was a fun adventure with delicious results~~.

E ~ Everyday--One homemaking thing you do everyday?I load the dish washer, wash clothes, make the bed, sweep the kitchen floor..
F ~ Freezer--Do you have a separate deep freeze?

Yes, I have one in my garage.. we turn it off this time of year but during the summer it is full of bagged ice, caught fish, breads and frozen berries etc..

G ~ Garbage Disposer? Well I have a garbage disposal ..yes use it all the time~Garbage taker outter is Hubby, I fill it for him ..

H ~ Handbook--What is your favorite homemaking resource?

I would say Martha Stewart, MOM , my sister and my friends we all seemed to learn alot from each other~

I ~ Ironing--Love it or Hate it?well I do it only when absolutely nessesary(:)
J ~ Junk Drawer--y/n? Where is it?
In my kitchen and it is semi- organized(:)

K ~ Kitchen--color and decorating scheme.
Cream... all cream cupboards and walls ...I need new counter tops I would do a cream.. the accent color is red.

L ~ Love--what is your favorite part of homemaking?
Making it all mine(I learned along time ago you can't please everyone(:)))
and making it comfortable~ I couldn't wait to get married and have my own place(:)
M ~ Mop--y/n?I have two, one is a smaller version of the bigger rag mop.. love it~~
N ~ Nylons, machine or hand wash? HAHA who wears nylons~
O ~ Oven--do you use the window or open the oven to check?I will open it to take a peek and smell~~
P ~ Pizza--What do you put on yours?
LOTS of CHEESE on a thin crust..pepperoni, onions , black olives, green pepper, crispy bacon~


Q ~ Quiet--What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? Look at things on my computer . Watch Dr Phil/ Oprah or cooking and decor shows~~ do crafts.
R ~ Recipe Card Box--y/n? What does it look like?I have 2 small photo albums that have slots just the right size to hold my recipe cards~
S ~ Style of house--What style is your house?Split entry, with full basement, 3 bedrooms~Am still waiting for my ''Dream Cottage'' with shake siding an planted on a lake(:)


T ~Tablecloths or Place mats?
Tablecloth if there is a dinner planned with guests, otherwise we just eat where ever we want to (:)

U ~ Under the kitchen sink--organized or toxic wasteland?I can find anything I need fairly quickly, I have a plastic tub its full of cleaning products.
Lots of rags to clean with too(:)Hubby says it looks like a rats nest.. but my friend Karen said it was the neatest -undersick she has seen~~LOL ( I go with her)

V ~ Vacuum--How many times per week?
about twice aweek~


W ~ Wash--How many loads of laundry do you do per week?I do a load about 5 loads a week~
X~ Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?yes ~~not everyday though ~
Y ~ Yard--y/n? Who does what?I do the lawn work most of the time now that the kids are grown and gone, he comes along and does some pruning and extra trimming~ He was thrilled when I took it over~
ZZZ's ~ what is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?

MY night lights and candle lights are on all the time ''day and night'' I think they last longer that way..so I just lock the doors.
