LOON LAKE

As I was reading this it reminded me of my summers at Loon Lake in Washington State

LOON LAKE Public area Not my uncles cabin but kinda like this it was up on a hill with a downhill jog to the sandy beach area~~~Trees ..etc.


Not my uncles cabin again (:) but a similar idea of the screened porch bedroom~~

Summers at Loon lake

As I was brousing through a magazine I came across this article about her memories of her summers at Loon Lake.. and it brought back my summers at MY Loon Lake in Washington State..an aunt and uncle had a cabin we all gathered there several times a summer.. cousins, swimming, boating, the great dock and sleeping on a screened in porch with cousins or a friend I got to bring ...all all wonderful memories(:)

and afew not so wonderful memories like the time when we just got there and my sis about 7 or so at the time got out of the car and ran down to the dock and was bending over looking in the water for fish an fell in ~~ all turned out ok but that wasn't a fun thing for her..and the time -one and only time - I attempted waterskiing.......up for a minute or two then ``ugh`` face first pushing the lake(:)

Family with lots of laughter music and dancing in that cabin and ofcourse lots of good food..

the sounds of crickets and frogs outside at night
oh my all those special things in my youth..

I'm thankful my life was so good..

Since then I have always dreamed of owning a cabin on the lake `any lake (:) Maybe someday~~
